The Welsh House has rescued and restored three traditional Welsh cottages set in the tranquility of rural Carmarthenshire. Created with a passion for architecture and an obsession for detail these unique holiday homes offer the perfect destination where the focus is on slowing down and enjoying the rustic charms of a simpler way of life.

We were very lucky to have our launch collection photoshoot at both Bryn Eglur and Bryncyn. Many of the photographs, taken by Heather Birdie (heatherbirdie.com) can be found throughout the website.

Under the Thatch is a curated collection of refined and authentic holiday homes.

For 20 years they have been restoring, designing and sharing properties that you’ll love in Wales, and beyond.

Trehilyn, managed by Under the Thatch, was the location of our second collection photoshoot with Heather Birnie (heatherbirdie.com). All 5 buildings in the hamlet are featured in many of the photographs on the website.

Welsh Stick Chairs.

Chris Williams is a skilled chair maker who lives and works in rural West Wales. Welsh stick chairs are a primitive chair unique to Wales that date back as far as the 13th century. Chris continues to craft and evolve these chairs into contemporary forms for the modern day, using traditional hand tools, locally sourced oak, elm and ash, or other suitable timbers when they become available.

We focus on sustainable and transparent trade with small farms from across the coffee growing regions of the world, and aim to uphold quality at every stage of our production. We are driven by remaining ethical, and by our desire to roast delicious coffee that's full of personality.

In The Welsh Wind.

In The Welsh Wind distillery are a small distillery in Wales, situated overlooking Cardigan Bay. An award-winning business, producing award-winning craft gins and pioneering the first ‘grain to glass’ Welsh whisky for over 100 years. They welcome gin lovers into the unique distillery for gin making experiences and gin tastings. Create you very own bespoke spirit in their copper pot still ‘Meredith’. With your influence, they establish the botanical profile and discover your gin.

Handmade linen sleepwear, beautifully crafted in West Wales using only sustainable material. Everything that goes into Huna sleepwear, whether it’s the fabric or elastic, down to the packaging and delivery has been thought about to make they are being as sustainable and ethical as possible. Sleep is such an important part of all of our lives, so why not feel good and do good while you’re sleeping.

Heather Birnie.

A portrait, lifestyle, food and interiors photographer who lives on a farm in West Wales. Her day to day life is spent either working from home, out photographing or enjoying one of her many loves, spending time with friends, running, cold water swimming, biking or climbing. After graduating in Photography for Fashion and Advertising she has undertaken photographic work for L’Officiel Magazine Germany, Manchester International Festival, Jwrnal Wales, Discover Delicious, The Goodlife Experience, Caws Teifi Cheese and of course Hunant.

Hide.

Hide in luxury at a seven-acre Welsh wood. Alternative holiday accommodation on the Glamorgan Heritage Coastline. Inspired by American transcendental poetry and its love of nature, and showcasing the best of Welsh arts and crafts, Hide at St Donat's offers a range of unusual and stylish accommodation. Working in tune with nature, Hide comprises three cosy ‘caban’ studios, a shepherd’s hut along with a ‘tiny house’, a romantic wooden lodge, set deep in the site’s arboretum .
